Welcome to Peace Congregational Church, UCC
|
We are a new faith community in Clemson, South Carolina. Our vision is to be a community of hope that proclaims God’s extravagant welcome, embodies the radical love of Jesus, honors the interconnectedness of our lives with creation, and empowers all people to grow toward wholeness. As a ministry of the Southeast Conference of the United Church of Christ, our faith is over 2000 years old but our thinking is definitely not.
Our pastor Rev. Susie Smith comes to us with many years of experience having served churches in Levittown, Pa, Anderson, SC and Greenville, SC. She has a passion for preaching and helping our congregation to experience the sacred that is present not only in worship but in every moment of life.

Future Menu Item to Savor... Retreat - Creativity and Art as a Spiritual Practice The retreat has been rescheduled for Saturday, March 6th from 10 AM - 3 PM at Lynn Jenkins and Hope Bennett's home and studio in Seneca.
The arts (music, pottery, visual arts, drama, poetry, writing, photography, cooking) help take us beyond our minds to touch our hearts and spirits in ways that expand our imagination and vision. Join us for a day with artists from our congregation Lynn Jenkins, Hope Bennett, Rick Morgan to experience how the practice of art can transform and deepen our lives.
As part of this day, we will create a meal together and experience the art of cooking as a creative, spiritual practice.
Bring: A journal or notebook and if you would like any form of artistic endeavor that feeds your spirit.
